The look of your gown, the flowers, the menu, the entertainment and so much more will all fall in place, but your wedding style must come first.
Words evoke emotion and tell a story, therefore, your printed materials can do just that for your wedding. Save the Dates, Invitations, ceremony programs, menu cards, escort and place cards and thank you notes are your form of storytelling.Your fairytale wedding story can be read when your guests read your words. It is important always to provide the important information your invited guests need to know, but at the same time they can be on your journey of LOVE as they read your story.
One of the hardest or easiest things you will do when planning your wedding is to select your party. Be sure to surround yourself with family and friends that want to be part of your wedding party. It’s ok not to ask someone, its ok to keep it small, its ok to make it large. There is no right or wrong number to have. BUT be 100% confident that the members you choose to be in your party are in it for the right reasons and are happy and excited to be part of your journey.

This is part of your wedding planning that can be overwhelming and also so so much fun. You will find that all the details when selected will come together and will really make your wedding represent both of you. Think of the details and think of what makes you smile.
I always want all wedding couples to walk down the aisle in style. This is a special moment. Your gown should make you look radiant. The perfect dress will allow you to wear the dress and not the other way around. Know your body type, then learn about the silhouettes in fashion, and finally look at the many color tones of bridal white on your skin tone. The receipt for wedding fashion success is based on these simple ingredients. Every couple should feel amazing, because when you do you will float with confidence and execute beauty!
From head to toe you should radiant beauty. When the bride walk down the aisle what everyone should see if the Bride first, the gown second and the accessories and bouquets as the final element. They are all important. Jewelry is to Embellish your overall personality and look. Too much can truly be too much. Your shoes can be an expected POP of color that peeks out from the hemline of your gown. Have fun and allow yourself to look and feel special.
What color? What style? High or Low table arrangements? What will the style of the bouquets and the flowers for the ceremony be? The cost, the many options, the endless details can become overwhelming. BUT wait a minute it’s just flowers, correct? Yes it’s flowers, but not just flowers this is what brings your party to life.
“Serving up excellence” The choices you make in drinks, and food and style of service will create the flow and the style wedding you want. Food can ‘marry” two different cultures base on menu choices. Family style food to the table can help engage conversation amongst guests. Food experiences for main entree increase the interaction of guests and allows more conversation with others throughout the party. “Remember you do eat with your eyes first” so be sure to think of the choices for your guests in the menu and the visual presentation that will be experienced too.
Decor is so complex two parts to this series were needed. Paper decor to accent the tables along with more attention to detail. Do not attempt to design your wedding in one meeting or one week. This is something you can allow to grow in between all the other wedding planning elements you are working on. Look at photos, and videos, and see what you like and may not like.
We all want you to look your fabulous self but we need to make sure the day of your wedding you look like you. This is where too much makeup, too much big hair is when I can say MORE is NOT good. You need to be sure your artists understand what you are comfortable with and what you will look like in your photos for a lifetime.
“Table settings literally is the jewelry of the table”. Table Top rentals should not be perceived as a luxury when planning your wedding. It should be a necessity when planning your wedding. Done be shy of color and details it can create a burst of excitement to your guests place settings and table top decor. Have fun and mix and match and be playful adding layers on the table.
They are both special and unique and provide you a different product. Fall in love with the one you feel best understand YOU as a couple. Make sure they listen to your wishes and make sure you see their work in advance. Photos and Videos last a lifetime so do not rush the selection process of who you wish to contract.
Seriously this is the heart beat of your celebration. It can make or break your wedding. Band vs DJ – both are wonderful and both serve different vibes to your wedding. I believe that a good wedding that can be great and fun is solely based on your music. Take the time to select a song list and share that info with your experts. Allow them to read the room and shift gears if needed with song selections. Do not hire either without having experiencing them personally. You do get what you pay for and trust me you do not want to be disappointed.
So much energy and excitement is applied to so many details you have worked on for your wedding. What is overlooked is lighting. A dark dance floor, an unlit band, the tables not lit and the wedding couple not able to be seen for their first dance. Lighting is a must so your wedding can come to life!
“A wedding without cake is like a party with no fun!” The wedding cake is all about completing your wedding story. The colors, flavors, design and now more often fun design details allows for the cake to be make a statement. Think about where and when your cake will be seen you will be surprised it can change the energy of your celebration. Fun, kid like bite sized desserts to the tables or sweet sugar stations are always a hit.
This is a fabulous fun task when planning your wedding A wedding registry is for two people You as a couple and your guests that want to make sure they purchase a gift you truly want. It’s a matter of convince to your guests so they can go on line and see you wishes and likes. Seriously this it is so much fun to shop shop shop….! Registry at a few retailers therefore, offerings different price points for your family and friends.
Your wedding story continues. Remember YOU are telling YOUR LOVE story. The last page of a book complete a story and your favors can do just that.
