We walked into The Folgers Shakespearian Library in Washington DC and we gasped. It was transformed into a lush garden and none of us understood how it was done. We all were literally in awe when the space was turned into a Middle Eastern dinner party for a royal family from the Middle East. Tall grand floral arrangements on candelabras with thousands of apricot, cream, and peach roses along with custom linens and fine details, graced all of the place settings. To complete the look, the entire ceiling was dressed with wild smilax and dripping vines to create a lush setting that reminded them of the their home abroad. This was an event you truly felt transported to another land and another time.
